Origin of the Nacimiento Block: My group has been studying the sedimentary origin of the Nacimiento Block (the rocks the Central California coast) in an attempt to reconstruct the structural evolution of coastal California.
Genesis of the Islay-Morro volcanic chain: We will use Hf isotope zircon geochemistry to better understand the genesis of the magma and tectonic setting associated with the Morro-Islay volcanic chain.
About
Spending time in the outdoors has been a passion of mine since childhood, and I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, climbing, surfing, and looking at the occasional rock along the way.
