Education
- Ph.D., Physics, University of California, Santa Barbara, 2024
- B.S., Physics and Mathematics, California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, 2018
Research Interests
- Topology and geometrical properties of soft elastic materials that are squishy and floppy
- Mechanical effects of geometrically constraining sheets such as graphene at finite temperatures
- Topological stability of tangled elastic defects in biaxial nematic systems with non-Abelian (non-commuting) fundamental groups and the complex structures that can be formed by exploiting such "entanglement"
