Research Interests

  • Biological Physics
  • Liquid Crystals
  • Soft Condensed Matter Physics

My research lies in the field of soft condensed matter physics. In contrast to metals, semiconductors, crystals, and other "hard" materials, soft matter materials are held together by non-covalent interactions and are easily deformable. Soft matter physics overlaps with many other fields of physics, such as fluid mechanics, theory of elasticity, materials science, biological physics, and statistical mechanics. If you'd like to find out about the projects I am currently working on, please contact me using my email address.
