About
Dr. Jason Veatch's primary research interest is in experimental particle physics and he has been a member of the ATLAS Collaboration since he joined as a Ph.D. student. In particular, he searches for evidence of potential new physics related to the Higgs Boson using high energy proton collisions at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN. He also has an interest in 3D printing technology as a tool that has many interesting applications in physics.
Dr. Veatch is a dedicated educator who prioritizes student success, including providing opportunities to students to work on cutting-edge research projects. He also has a strong interest in physics outreach and communicating science to the general public.
Outside of work, Dr. Veatch enjoys rock climbing, canyoneering, hiking, kayaking, mountain biking, playing board games, and traveling.
