About

My research focuses on theoretical and computational studies of quantum many-body systems, with an emphasis on ultracold Fermi gases and unconventional superconductivity. I am particularly interested in how pairing and superfluidity emerge in spin-imbalanced and low-dimensional systems, where rich phases such as the Fulde–Ferrell–Larkin–Ovchinnikov (FFLO) state can arise. Using Bogoliubov–de Gennes methods and numerical simulations, my work explores superfluid–normal phase transitions, spatially inhomogeneous pairing, and interface physics in confined geometries.

At Cal Poly, I am equally passionate about teaching and mentoring students through hands-on, learn-by-doing approaches. I strive to make complex physics concepts accessible and engaging, and I actively involve undergraduate students in research projects that blend analytical thinking with computational skills. Outside of academia, I enjoy playing pool, chess, and table tennis, as well as staying active through cricket and soccer.
