Presented by: Roger C. Hunter, Project Manager, KEPLER Mission, NASA Ames Research Center
ABSTRACT:
Roger Hunter is the Project Manager for the NASA KEPLER Mission. KEPLER is NASA’s first mission to search for habitable planets in our Milky Way Galaxy, outside our solar system. KEPLER’s science objective is to determine how rare, or common, potentially habitable earths are in our galaxy. He will review the KEPLER mission, including background, operations, and results so far in the mission’s first 3 years of Science Operations.
